Sandrone has a PhD to finish, a thesis to defend, all for a project she has been working on for years. Sandrone also has a secret: she’s an omega. She has kept her designation secret for seven years through sheer force of will, a self-engineered suppressant, and a personality so abrasive that no one gets close enough to notice. Summary
They are called the Turned. Those who succumb to excessive negativity: Sorrow, anger, hate, envy, and other such emotions, warp and deform, transforming into monsters. The job of defending the public from the Turned, and of studying them and, when possible rehabiliating them, falls to the 4 Institutes of Remnant: Beacon, Haven, Shade, and Atlas. Ruby Rose is the youngest agent employed by Beacon at 15, and is determined to prove she deserves the position. It's a hard job, but to help people like this what she's always wanted.
But things seem to just keep getting worse. People are Turning more and more often, mysterious figures at the head of dangerous cults keep popping up, and the White Fang becomes more aggressive every day. Remnant is approaching a breaking point, and Ruby will right in the middle of it all.
