Rumpelstiltskin is the prisoner of the ruthless and vile Blackbeard, he’s been having his fun with the dark one for 5 years and isn’t stopping and time soon, not while he holds the dagger.
But What happens when they dock at a town, and captain Hook joins Blackbeard’s Boat and sees the crocodile who took his hand all those centuries ago? He wants payback what the dark one took from him, but has hook perhaps started getting more than he bargained for when he gets to know Rumpelstiltskin. -

I see this one very much as ‘the before’ and if I could describe it in a few words I would probably use ‘sad’ ‘fear’ ‘cuteness’ ‘kindness’ ‘friendship’ ‘heartbreaking’ "forgiveness" "bromance"
book 2 as the ‘main incident’ or ‘friendship’
And book 3 as the ‘after’ or ‘consequence’ but also “friendship’ (again lol) and “healing” (that’s an important one)
