Summary
Thor searches space to find Loki's body, so he can finally give his sibling a proper funeral. However, when he eventually finds the corpse, it's frozen.
Thinking back to how his friend Steve Rogers was frozen in ice for 70 years and still made it out alive, Thor brings Loki's body back to Earth to see if he can be revived. Trying to continue their interrupted reconciliation and help Loki (and himself) recover, Thor also stumbles upon some elements of Loki's past he sort of wished he hadn't.
(story set after Spider-Man: No Way Home, as that was the last MCU movie to come out when I started writing this)
There will be trigger warnings (TWs) at the beginning of chapters, as well as a chapter summary page that gives brief summaries each chapter if you skipped one due to the TW. (or if you want to refresh your memory before reading a new chapter).

Summary
Loki's sentence for his actions in New York have left him a different person. Thor finds his brother in a puddle of his own blood, only to realize that his younger sibling is not what he once was. Is Loki completely innocent? Are the Asgardian's methods of "fixing him" truly justifiable? Thor stays alongside Loki in his journey to recover, realizing that his brother might not have deserved punishment at all.

Summary
Loki's managed to escape Asgardian imprisonment, only to end up in the hands of SHIELD. As he tries to heal from the wounds that haunt him both physically and mentally, he just can't speak up to explain to anybody that he never wanted to be the villain.
But it's not only SHIELD and the Avengers that think he's to blame for all the wrongdoings that have been happening...
