It was no surprise that Kirishima was one of the strongest Pro Hero's out there, a sturdy and dependable hero. Bakugo's known this for years. They live together, work together, they've been best friends since their school days.
So why is it that NOW suddenly watching him fight, walk, breath, or move at all has him harder than the idiots quirk? All he knows it that it's annoying, but he's handling it somehow.

Summary
The discovery of a new metal that can harness and immense power source sends multiple planets reeling, but none more than the person who discovered it, Kirishima.
Offers pour in by the day, and by year three, he needs to really make a decision before yet another person makes an attempt on his life. He intends on not hoarding it forever, but putting it to the best use possible to help others, which not many of the planets contacting him had in mind. If the people from the other planets want some, who is he to say no to a collaboration? He could use some assistance honestly.
Weapons are out of the question and he's overjoyed when one finally contacts him with a proposal they would both benefit from immensily, and they send over multiple scholars and scientists to help work on renewable long-term energy storage. Kirishima is over the moon but touches down soon enough when the grumpy scholar Bakugo who is assigned to him, wants nothing to do with him.
He forges ahead undaunted and ends up with success on multiple different levels, and when their contract ends, he doesn't want Bakugo to leave...

Katsuki just wanted to go north to find his family again, to let them know he's still alive. Kirishima finds him and promises to get him there after the winter thaws. That's it.
It was supposed to be temporary. But somewhere along the way, the water changes. A place where mers are safe. Where younglings are raised in the open. Where humans don't hunt. A place where no one is kept unless they choose to stay.
Katsuki doesn't trust it, doesn't trust the humans. He definitely doesn't trust the way his body reacts: to the water, to the others...to Kirishima. Because if it is just instinct, he can leave.

Their hands brush in the transfer and the blond finds himself lingering on demonfolk’s fingers, the digits dark black, as if dipped in charcoal, and searingly warm to the touch.
If Zoro notices, he doesn’t mention it. The man instead glancing between the swirl in the coffee to the curl of the witch’s eyebrow before smirking, “Thanks Curly,” he says, tipping his chin up in a nod After a moment of lingering amusement, the demonfolk turns and heads to the far corner of the cafe.
Sanji watches him go with a frown, his fingertips tingling and a furious blush warming his ears.
What a bastard.

The heat is different here. And it’s trying so hard to be luxurious in that insufferable way that only the ultra rich manage. Each breath reeks of eucalyptus and lavender. Like someone knew that they’d all arrive sweaty and unspeakably tired. Like someone built the entire resort, hell, the entire island, around the idea that the world had broken them and this was the best it could do to tape them back together. Sun. Salt.
And a professional-grade lube bar.Or; Katsuki gets sent to a sexual wellness retreat by his friends. Unfortunately his ex gets talked into going to the same one by the same friends.
