Summary
War is coming.
Before it begins, Hermione Granger will have to make an impossible choice in order to keep her parents safe. At the end of her Sixth Year, she plans to say goodbye to the life she's known and sacrifice herself to the cause.
A hex in the Quidditch stands sets off a chain of events that show Hermione just how far Draco Malfoy will go to get what he craves, even if it means blackmailing her or falling to his knees and begging for it.

Summary
A loose Dramione retelling of the plot of When He Was Wicked (Bridgerton Book 6...but not regency era).
After the war, Draco Malfoy pays his debt in Azkaban while his closest friend, Theodore Nott, finds love and forgiveness in the heart of Hermione Granger. Draco returns to a very different world than he left behind, and he must come to terms with his place in his friends' lives as well as the world at large.
At first he isn't sure what Theo sees in the Muggleborn swot from their childhood, but eventually he comes to understand all too well. Conflicted and full of self-loathing he flees rather than see them marry.
