    Diluc works the bar at Angel’s Share every Friday night. When a Fatui diplomat starts showing up, determined to get to know Mondstadt’s most fiery and unrelenting bartender, Diluc struggles to acknowledge that Fatui are people in their own right, with their own thoughts and drives. Where Childe seems determined to get to know Diluc, Diluc is trying to pack away his internal monologue and remind himself that this is it: this is the life he was given, and this is the life he deserves. He does not get to want for things.

    Least of all for a pretty Snezhnayan diplomat.

    Summary

    There is a cheerful adventurer in Mondstadt, who excitedly takes the most difficult and dangerous commissions from the Adventurer's guild. His partner is a simple bartender, who's walked away from the Dawn Winery, despite his family name. Ajax and Diluc are just normal citizens of Mondstadt, or so they would like everyone to believe. Few would guess Ajax used to be a Fatui harbinger, or that Diluc must constantly suppress the blacks flames of an evil Delusion spirit.

    But can they truly be free from their past until they confront what they've left behind?
