Summary
Tobirama had made her peace with death in the moment she was struck her down by foes more powerful than her. She hadn’t been prepared for Uchiha Madara to burst out of the forest like an avenging god and to plunge his hand right into the corroding miasma of chakra she hadn’t managed to pierce herself. She wished he hadn’t. Her life wasn’t worth the sacrifice of his right hand.
And so Tobirama swears, by the bedside of an unconscious Uchiha Madara, under the hateful eye of his younger brother, to make him a new hand. Creation, after all, is her speciality.
But in a moment of desperation, Tobirama steps over a line and impulsively uses her own body as the tool for this task, which will have wide-reaching consequences.Series

Summary
Shinobi have few boundaries. The nature of their work is often the unpleasant tasks all other warriors refuse. Missions, however? Missions are essential. A shinobi breaking their word deliberately while completing a mission contract is tantamount to social suicide. No contact wants to hire a shinobi clan who breaks their agreements frivolously. A clan's reputation is all that stands between them and starvation.

Tobirama always knew he would most certainly have to marry for duty instead of love. Arranged marriages though rare in the Senju clan in general aren’t unusual for the main family since duty trumps love. Of course they usually make an effort to find a good match. Usually.

The thing is, when time comes, and Tobirama is faced with an arranged marriage he is not only afraid but also hateful. He is to be given away as a lesser spouse so his anija’s dream can be fulfilled.

“It won’t work,” Tobirama replies, too quick, too soon, before having all his thoughts processed. Hashirama waits for him to explain himself. “It won’t unless it’s someone high profile among us. Otherwise there’s no guarantee either way.”
Hashirama nods, and now that Tobirama pays attention, his brother looks ashamed.
“Oh, you meant to offer me,” Tobirama concludes, “me or Touka. But I doubt Touka would do well inside an arrangement like this, so it falls to me.”
