Summary
The Freak Circus was not a stranger to lost monsters in need of a warm, nutritious meal and a safe haven within their domain. So naturally, when Pierrot and Harlequin fall head over heels for a clueless monster raised by humans, they decide to show her how to survive and use her abilities to her advantage. Her sweet nature and the wings on her back are uncomfortable reminders of their traumatic past and brings memories to light that all of the circus members would much rather forget. They will not lose another angel to the dark teeth of this world, and they are determined to keep her safe; No matter the cost.

I’m running through the darkness, my eyes darting wildly through the trees as branches claw at my skin and roots threaten to trip me at every step. The forest feels endless—twisting, tightening—like it knows what I am and wants me back where I belong. Their footsteps pound behind me, heavy and relentless, never far, never slowing.
I don’t dare look back.
My lungs burn, each breath scraping my throat raw. Tears blur my vision as a whimper slips free, pathetic and broken, when I feel my wounds tear open again—old cuts splitting wide, warm and slick against my skin. The scent of blood hangs around me like a beacon. I escaped the circle, the chanting, the hands that held me down while they prayed to something that listened—but escape doesn’t mean freedom. Not yet.

“Why—why, God?!” he hisses under his breath, voice barely louder than the crackle of the lanterns as he walks the perimeter of the campsite. “You hate me or something? Why out of all people did I have to end up as the background character in a game that’s not even finished?”
The circus caravans sit quietly for now, wheels half-sunk into the dirt from travel, paint peeling from too many roads and too many promises. Canvas tents are still being raised farther in, stakes hammered into the ground with dull, rhythmic thuds. It’s early—before everything. Before names turn into legends. Before stories rot into warnings.
“Thank the lord I haven’t met them yet,” he mutters, rubbing his gloved hands together more out of nerves than cold. “So if I do… just don’t screw it up. Don’t be a total abusive dick.”- Language:

Summary
A young monster overheard the circus' increasing issues with humans and their smartphones. She decides to help them out with her specific power, not expecting to be permanently invited into the Freak Circus of Horrors as part of the troupe. She tries her best to navigate this dysfunctional family and, over time, perhaps her efforts were not in vain.
