Jane Hollander is a Japanese-Canadian dancer who planned to move to America for college to join a collegiate dance team to compete in the UDA college dance competitions hoping to be accepted to her dream school, Ohio State, a college with one of the highest achieving dance teams in the country.
Lily Rozanova is a Russian dancer who planned to move to America for college in order to make money to support her family back in Russia. After she moved, Lily rediscovered her love of dance, having learned that some colleges, such as University of Minnesota, were well known for their high achievements in UDA college dance competitions, it became her mission to win.

Percy Jackson is a merman who was raised by his mother Sally in a small underwater city, not allowed to approach the surface, that was supposed to be all there was to his life, but, as his mother would say, the tides work in mysterious ways.
Starts out with a prologue set in the past when Thalia, Annabeth, Luke, and Grover were traveling to camp, then the rest is set after the end of Sea of Monsters.

Charlie has started to attend a support group for people with OCD and has made a few friends. Nick truly doesn’t know how to talk about it with Charlie but really wants to understand more than what he has read, so he asks one of Charlie’s friends if she would be comfortable sharing her experience with him. This is that interaction.
