It's the end of a very long day, for everyone concerned. Willy is used to shaping the world around him exactly how he wants it to be, but with Charlie and his family in the picture, he will need to face up to some hard truths, a few awful mistakes, and at least one truly terrible first impression... just to get through the evening.
This story takes place after my two shorter one-shots, the Forgery and the Coupon, and is set right after the Golden Ticket tour.

Caine gets another chance to prove himself, though he's not sure he wants to, and he still doesn’t understand how it all went so wrong in the first place.
Nobody really wants to die here. Nobody really has much of a choice on how to make that happen. And certainly, nobody is really happy with their former tormentor(s).
But…any port in a storm, right? And maybe with a little patience and effort and compassion, they can all learn to just...live.
