Summary
When you had been diagnosed with two lifelong, chronic illnesses your first year in high school, you had instantly shifted your plans. Away from grand aspirations, away from long-term plans, and into reality. Ever practical, you channeled your focus into things you knew would help down the line, even if it's not fun now. Learned how to mitigate. Learned how to work with it, day in and day out.
And then a bunch of turtles get into a fight right outside your window, and suddenly the exhausting life path laid out before you looks a little more interesting.
This is my love letter to the chronically ill people in the TMNT fandom.

Being stuck in Malleus' time bubble, in an everlasting dream… for some, it feels like minutes. For Jamil, it feels like weeks. Dreams have an indefinite state about them, after all. Summary
Your godson has a soft spot for broken things, and when he insists you fix the broken animatronic chicken he found exploring the old pizzaplex on a dare, you can't find it in you to say no. But she knows the state of things down there, and you can't refuse to help others that you know are in pain, even if you are kind of grumpy about it.
This is just a short series for the moment, but I'm going to try and cover every animatronic! It might take me a while to update (hopefully not) but I will never put it on hiatus. I hope you enjoy this! I have zero idea whether it'll eventually lead to a ship or not, but I will do my best to provide the softest of hurt/comfort either way!
