“Let me stop you right there,” the Kid tells her, taking a few steps deeper into the cavernous room. “That’s a mutant. Do you know what his powers were?”
“Do I need to?” she frowns, apparently not sure where he’s going with that.
“What I’m trying to say is, don’t waste that on someone who could, for all we know, have that regenerating thing they have sometimes.”
“Only a few mutants have healing factor. You can tell them from those that don’t pretty easily, though. Do you know how?”
“You never find them crumpled on the floor showing no vital functions?” he guesses.
“Bingo.”
Which is all she says even as she goes right back to what she was doing before he interrupted her like the attention craving trickster that he was. Something not very smart, that was...

Musa lowered the sword, just an inch. It wasn’t as fun when he didn’t quiver. “Funny. I don’t remember asking for your opinion, do I?”
