In some (twisted) way, Hokma is Angela's first friend. In Lobotomy Corporation, when they're all losing their minds (her included), it's clearly not for the best. In the Library, though... it's more complex.
(At this point, they're possibly unfit for society forever. But society itself is unfit for humanity, so should they really care?)
