Harris stopped talking because Shane had frozen. Completely frozen. His glass halted halfway to his lips. His eyes went wide and fixed on a point on the far wall. The blush that had been a soft pink bloomed into a scarlet tide that crept from his neckline to the roots of his hair.

Summary
On their way back to Erid, Rocky and Grace discover a mysterious box. Upon opening it, the two discover some strange changes. Well, perhaps way more than strange.
Rocky finds a new marking on his arm similar to Grace's scar, and Grace finds markings similar to Rocky's on his arms and legs.
Rocky begins to dream and can easily wake from sleep, and Grace can stay up for much longer than a normal human should.
Grace starts seeing sound when it's too dark to properly see, and Rocky starts seeing pops of colour in his sound vision.
Neither can understand what's happening to them and how they're seemingly linked together, but they know there's nothing in the world that could tear them apart.
(TLDR: This fic will include almost everyone's favourite things! Rocky learns about how Grace got on the Hail Mary (Including Rocky witnessing the memory of Grace being sent on the Hail Mary)! Grace can survive in Rocky's atmosphere! Grace will live as long as Rocky! Rocky and Adrian reuinite and Adrian meets Grace! Ilya knows that, between him and Shane, he's the more affectionate of the two. He's not sure if it's because he's from Europe, where everyone greets each other with a hug and a kiss on the cheek, or if it's because he grew up so starved for love and affection that he can't do anything except show Shane how much he loves him at any chance that he has.
So, yes, he knows that he's the one most likely to kiss Shane on the cheek when he skates by him at practice or come up behind Shane when he's cooking dinner just to wrap his arms around him or fall on top of Shane while he's reading on the couch, desperate to have his skin touching Shane's.
But, Shane… Shane loves Ilya differently. It's quieter. More intentional.
