A sweet officer tried his best to help me. He had long dark blue hair - the colour of the night sky mixed with the stardust of galaxies far away - his pale yellow eyes - a shade that could only be found on stars ,filled with sincerity. He was kind enough to give me his number, just in case, saying something like.
”I would feel eternally guilty if something happened to you and I didn’t have the ability to help because i was incapable because of our messed up police system.”

Summary
Kim Dokja moved out to the ocean in order to feel closer to his favourite author, but he's disillusioned with what little he finds there. He became a server at a tavern popular with nixies to keep himself afloat as he tries to figure out what he wants out of life.
Yoo Jonghyuk is a decorated selkie soldier only occupied with his work, but he's recently become intensely occupied by whether or not a human server knows Yoo Jonghyuk is a selkie, and if so, if he knows how obscene and overtly intimate he's been acting by manhandling Yoo Jonghyuk's pelt.
All he needs to do was feel this human out until he's certain of his intentions, and if the entitlement over Yoo Jonghyuk's very skin was an intentional overture, turn him down. That shouldn't be too hard.
