Summary
The end of the Cold War wasn't heralded by the fall of the Berlin Wall and German reunification, but rather with the fall of nuclear bombs across Europe, rendering the surface unsuitable for permanent habitation.
The remnants of humanity retreated underground, slowly rebuilding society over the decades. Battling overpopulation and skill shortages, some subterranean settlements reached out to others for help.
Yet one didn't.
In the aftermath of the Party's rise to power, the English settlement was withdrawn from all alliances and its independence and self sufficiency were championed.
The Party's priorities? Reduce resource consumption and increase standard of living.
Their slogan?
By any means necessary.

Summary
Grace and Simon have ended their stories. Unfortunately, neither of them had their happy ending.
Grace has found a tentative home on Erid. He's living with his soulmates, Rocky and Adrian. He's saved the stars, set foot on distant worlds... and he's starving. Not even just for food, although that's part of it. His first love was humanity, Earth. He loved science, teaching, and making friends. And now he's 10 years away from it all and desperate for human connection.
Simon is objectively worse off. His prayer to live was answered by the Blood God, but in its ignorance it did not distinguish between Simon and the rest of the SM-13. He's stuck in a hellish limbo, encased in the mutant tree and fused with the submarine, reliving the horror of the last moments of his life, waiting for freedom.Will he get his freedom?
I know I know. Another "Grace finds Simon floating in space" fic. Listen, I was blissfully ignorant. After consuming some bloodymary fanart I was unwillingly possessed by a hell-creature, vomiting the contents of this fic into my notes app while the Great Unknowable Eye of God beheld me in my stupor. After three days of not eating or sleeping, I returned to consciousness and had to upload this.

Summary
It's been seven months since Grace met up again with Rocky and they started their journey to Erid.
It's been three months since an unexpected and unexplainable passenger joined the Hail Mary.
Three months of Grace hoping the only other human he's likely to ever encounter will survive despite having horrific injuries that he reasonably shouldn't be able to recover from. But he'd made it so far, it'd be a shame to give up now, right?
And just as the man finally wakes up, Grace is left wondering if maybe letting him inside the Hail Mary was a huge mistake, or maybe the best decision he's ever made. -

Summary
As work on the new settlement begins, Axe is tasked with gathering supplies and searching for other lost clans. Eager to reunite with the rest of the Mandalorian Resistance and to see the Children of the Watch replaced, he happily accepts the mission. Unfortunately for him, his new partner is Paz Vizsla.
Paz is still unsure how this alliance is going to work, but he has bigger concerns than trying not to kill Axe Woves. He has spent the last few decades doing his best to follow the Path. Working to break from his Death Watch training and his father’s infamous legacy. By reuniting with the rest of Mandalore his past threatens to shatter the fragile life he’s built. With each day, the risk of being identified increases and the only person at his back has more reason than most to hate Death Watch.
Reclaiming Mandalore together was just the beginning. The future of Mandalore now rests on two men who have every reason to hate each other. As hate slowly turns to respect and more, both Paz and Axe will have to forge new paths. Either their paths will lead them to the same brighter future or leave them both with fresh scars that will never heal.
