Yuuji counted himself lucky in most things in life. He’s blessed to be healthy, and always fed, and knowing he was loved was as fundamental a truth as the sky being blue.
His grandpa was never one to get caught up in the past. In moments of reminiscing, he talked mostly of his son, how he was brave and kind but also a little stupid (like Yuuji). He rarely talked about his mom, and he never talked about why she left them.
