Summary
Harry Potter never made it to his third year. The summer after his second year of Basilisk attacks and Phoenix tears, he accidentally blew up his Aunt in a fit of rage, causing her to float off to who knows where. After receiving the missive from the Ministry of Magic, Harry runs from the Dursley household and straight into the wands of eager Death Eaters.
He was taken to Voldemort to fight in a death match. He lands a killing blow to the evil dark lord but not before Voldemort fires off his own Avada. In order to save his life, Harry's magic lashes out and Apparated him to safety.
Well, as safe as the Isle of the Lost can be.

Percy Jackson is turned into a minor god. Time travel ensues, leaving him smack dab in the middle of the Pirate Era. Alone on an island (if you don't count the rum), he relaxes and finally gets some peace away from the world of demigods.
Then Jack Sparrow happens and Percy is reminded of why he had such a chaotic life anyhow.
