Tubbo has never had someone stay before.
I mean sure he’s had friends, really good friends even. But they’ve never stayed for very long.
Well apart from one, but he still ended up leaving too in the end. So yeah Tubbo hasn’t had anyone stay. But even with this fact, he doesn’t think it has affected him too much…

“C'mere," Buck says, sitting up to scoot closer to Eddie.
"What are you doing?” Eddie asks, and Buck sighs.
"You can just kiss me, get a taste of the lip balm, and tell me what flavour you think it is.”
Eddie can’t believe his ears.
"That is such a stupid way to win a bet, Buck."
“Oh so you concede?"
Eddie rolls his eyes, shaking his head before planting both hands on the sides of Buck's face and hauling him in to press their lips together.
OR
Buck and Eddie make a bet on whether or not Eddie can guess all of Buck's lip balm flavours, and in order for Eddie to get a taste, they have to kiss.

Summary
Eddie had seen Buck devastated before, more times than he'd like to count. But nothing compared to watching Buck realise that his son might be dead. And it was all his fault.
Or: After Theo disappears during a mall takeover, Eddie tears the building apart trying to bring Buck’s son home. A terrifying day that finally forces Buck and Eddie to confront the fact that they’ve already built a family together, with Christopher and Theo at the centre of it.

“Chris is thinking of joining a literature club, apparently. I don’t know what you did but I feel like it was you,” Eddie wasted no time before talking. It brought comfort to Buck that he was so familiar with Eddie that he could picture the facial expressions he was making.
“I’m at work” Was all Buck could get out. He knew his words were stilted, and he probably should feel embarrassed about his voice crack, but right now he didn’t have the energy to feel much of anything.
“I know. So how’d you corrupt my kid from another state? I might have to move further if your magic powers are still working”
