Summary
Fresh off the back of their first headline tour, Trinity is looking forward to sleeping, relaxing, and trying to avoid the judgmental blank pages of her lyric notebook where she should be writing their sophomore album.
However, when her favorite band requests that The Pitches join them on their upcoming tour, Trinity has to deal with the reality of being up close and personal with Yolanda Garcia, frontwoman of Fire Sign, and certified menace to Trinity's composure.
Featuring pittling band antics, Emery and Parker shamelessly enjoying Yolanda being a simp, and sex that's definitely casual with no complicated emotions at all.

Now that the call was almost over the reality of the rig’s interior utter crampedness had really hit, Trinity’s body relaxing a bit at the presence of some actual space and natural light. It was almost ironic — her mother eventually putting her into a fucking box. This time around a moving one, stuffed with extremely expensive medical equipment.

Summary
If Trinity thought her blood pressure had spiked when she saw the knife, the feeling that she gets when she sees Izzy in the doorway to the room Trinity had left is akin to the worst case of hypertension she's ever seen. She wouldn't be surprised if the veins in her eyes are bursting, sending ribbons of red spilling out across the whites.
Alex is beginning to speak again, his voice shaking but his tone firm and unrelenting. "I have to go—"
Trinity reaches out instinctively, unable to think about anything other than keeping Izzy out of his eyeline. "Alex! Don't—"
She doesn't see him pull out the knife. But a split second after he moves there's a sharp pain in her left arm, blood immediately welling up out of a slash across it. She presses onto it with her other hand, shying away from him in pain, her basic animal brain telling her to protect the injury.
This is the wrong move.
or: it turns out that, for trinity at least, getting stabbed makes you rethink a few things. among these things is included your ex-situationship-turned-tentative-work-friend-turned-awkward-avoidanceship (yeah, it's a mouthful. maybe quicker to just call her garcia)

“Don’t act as if you don’t know what you’re doing.”
“What if I don’t?” Yolanda asked, fingers moving to Trinity’s inner wrist. “Will you show me?” She pressed her fingers into Trinity’s skin, right above her radial artery and chuckled, feeling her pulse racing.
“God, you’re infuriating,” Trinity mumbled, taking Yolanda’s hand, her skin sending sparks where they touched, burning bright. She placed Yolanda’s fingers on the side of her neck, just enough for her to get a better feeling of the effect she had on Trinity, to feel her pulse at the carotid, much stronger there, that much more desperate.Or the 3+1 fic that takes Trin and Yolanda from flirting to making out in a supply closet to finally falling on Trinity's bed

"We both know we don't have time to stand around and listen to you stutter out half a thought, so get on with it. What about her?" she asks again.
Whitaker takes a single, steadying breath. "She …" He wets his lips, eyes scattering across the room before they return no more confidently to meet hers, "She took a scalpel out of one of the suture carts in the hallway."
Or: What if Whitaker had seen Santos take the scalpel and told Garcia?

Summary
“ if, perchance, you should grieve at all, let her not perceive it;
and laugh when, within yourself, you could have wept.
— Ovid, Remedia AmorisThe thing about the words we say, even the ones we mean to say, is that we can never really tell how completely they might unravel a life. And for Yolanda Garcia, who has built herself carefully around discipline, distance and the absolute refusal to need anybody at all, it only takes one badly timed sentence for everything to begin coming apart.
aka my take on post series 2 Garsantos and how Yolanda and trinity might come back together again.

Summary
“The easiest way to clean you up, besides keeping you away from the club, for the love of God—” Trinity opens her mouth to argue, but Samira just holds up a hand and shakes her head, “—is to give you a love interest. And people love a co-star romance. They’re hot right now and we think if it seems like you and Yolanda are dating—especially with Yolanda being as serious and respected as she is, we can have much more support for you before you even start filming.”
Trinity nods, processing the words for a moment before they actually begin to settle within her. “Wait—you want us to date?”
Trinity Santos, longtime film actress stuck just below the level of true awards acclaim due to a bad reputation for never shutting her mouth and never leaving the club before dawn, finds herself signing onto a PR relationship with the goal of cleaning up her image. Of course, this fake relationship is with none other than Academy Award winning actress—and her future co-star—Yolanda Garcia.

Summary
Trinity Santos does not believe soulmarks mean love. She loved Grace without a matching mark, lost her anyway, and learned that fate was useless when it mattered most. By the time she starts her internship at the Pitt, the rose above her elbow is surrounded by tattoos, hidden in plain sight beneath years of grief, anger, and careful misdirection.
Yolanda Garcia grew up knowing soulmates were not the only way to build a life. Her parents were married without matching marks, and she never saw the point in waiting around for fate to make decisions for her. Still, some part of her always thought it would be nice, if it happened. Not necessary. Just nice.
or: Trinity would rather cut her own hand off than call it fate. Yolanda, unfortunately, knows how to reattach one.

Summary
“I miss you,” Yolanda mumbles into the dimly lit space.
Of all the things that could’ve left Yolanda’s mouth, those three devastating words certainly weren’t on the list.
“I miss us,” Yolanda added, braver in her resolve now. “I miss what we had without all the causal shit I hid behind.”
