    So, when Barty Crouch Jr (one of his closest friends) starts dating Regulus Black, any and all concern James has is for Barty and Regulus themselves. He isn't jealous. He has no reason to be. Still, his concern only grows the more that Barty, for some ridiculous reason, keeps coming to him for relationship advice.

    But that's completely normal. James is just looking out for Regulus, like any good friend would.
