Summary
Duncan couldn't afford to keep all his horses let alone get distracted by the first appealing Alpha he spotted across a few party platters. Lyonel was too old to be another drunk lord pining after his favorite knight, no matter how the predator in his chest howled for him.

Summary
Jon Snow died betrayed by his own brothers of the Night’s Watch. Instead of finding peace, he awakens nearly two centuries in the past, on the eve of the Dance of the Dragons.
By saving Prince Lucerys Velaryon from death at Storm’s End, Jon unknowingly changes the course of history. Worse still, he catches the attention of the dangerous, one-eyed Prince Aemond Targaryen, who insists Jon is an omega, his fated mate, and destined to stand at his side.
Jon wants nothing to do with the Targaryens’ coming civil war. He knows the Dance will leave their house broken, their dragons dead, and the realm weaker than ever. His only concern is the true enemy waiting beyond the Wall, and somehow convincing his ancestors to prepare for the Long Night.

“I want to watch the sun rise.” Ben muttered, “It reminds me that even as the dark sets in, the light will come back around eventually. It always does. It has become hard to remember that recently.”
The answer left Jaster speechless.
Ben sounded wounded– hurt in a way which would not heal with time alone. He looked like a tired Verd, a battle-weary warrior. Jaster had seen the look before. Many Verde wore it. The glint of deeply rooted pain sparked in Ben’s eyes too.
Instead of asking more, Jaster turned his head to watch the sunrise along with Ben.
It was peaceful.
The dawn of a new day.
