Summary
Billy is touchy. The kind of touchy that might have drawn raised eyebrows or whispers about being queer if Billy weren’t so vividly alien in other ways, as anti-Hawkins as a person can get. He’s as bright as the sunshine coast, glorious when he’s in a good mood, and mean and fast as a copperhead snake when he isn’t; people know better than to poke at him.
So he doesn’t think anything of it when Billy sits too close, their sides pressed snugly together. It’s not weird when Billy crowds him on the court, guiding him through a shot or a play. Steve kind of likes it, really. One day, early on a Monday morning when Billy comes up behind him at his locker, hand pressing briefly to the small of his back in greeting, Steve realizes it’s the first time someone has touched him since Friday when Dustin forced a spit shake out of him.
After that, when he’s able to swallow around the knot in his throat, he starts touching back.
Or: Steve Harrington can justify just about anything, given the right motivation.

Summary
Billy’s heart stops right in his chest. Like a fat guy trying to squish down a chimney.
His tongue feels huge and red and not working. It’s not working. He can’t get a word out.
Steve and, fuck, Eddie are looking at him bugged eyed and flubbering. Carol of the bells is blasting over the shitty mall speakers getting louder and louder and more grainy and shitty as it grows. He can’t even breath, because what does he say?
Steve Harrington you’re all I think about when I lay in bed at night. Not even fucking you, which would be bad enough. But more like going ice skating at a cute frozen pond. Getting hot chocolate afterwards with lots of whipped topping to have the cups to warm their hands. Then cuddling up together on the couch under a knitted blanket. With a fire crackling and their steady breathing the only sound. The only music.
And… holy hell, he’s even imagined them wearing matching red and green ugly sweaters.
Billy’s so angry and embarrassed. And Steve’s still looking right at him.

Summary
A damaged headlight is bad, but fixable. Replaceable. The dent on the fender had been an entirely different issue that almost made him lose his shit all over again. But when the Camaro’s steering started getting a little stiff, when she didn’t ride as smooth as she was supposed to, coupled with the light ticking coming from the driver’s side wheel, Billy knew there was more to the story. More to the little joyride story a shitty little brat had told him.
And now, with his car in the shop, Billy Hargrove is both annoyed and bored out of his mind. A dangerous combination. There is, however, one good thing that came out of this situation. One measly little thing that’s still pushing the line: Steve Harrington volunteered to carpool Max to and from school. And Billy, of course, simply added himself to the equation.

Summary
Steve tumbles out of the gate, but instead of the dried out lake, he finds himself in Eddie's trailer. Dazed, upset and confused, he ventures into the upside-down, and instead of finding the three friends he'd last seen in the boat, he comes across another familiar face - Billy Hargrove, who appears to be a little less-than-human and looking for a good time and a ticket out of the hellhole he'd found himself in following his death.
