The day after a nasty snowstorm leaves him snowed in, MC finds himself with an unexpected extra guest in his apartment, sending his brain spinning. All aboard the feels train, as he and his very welcome new arrival get by with a little help from their friends! OC x Monika, plus some background OC pairings. Based on but is not a self-insert. Heavy feels, as to be expected for a totally overwhelmed fish out of water with probable PTSD and major guilt, with equally heavy romantic fluff, and a good dash of humor and general nerding out. Coarse language. Physical affection, but no smut. (Yet.) Heavy doses of D&D therapy with protag and his friends! Also, my first attempt at published writing! I live for feedback, people!

Summary
Starts two years before the events of "Snow". This time we have the Monika and Sayori side of the story.
Sayori had been struggling for a while. Juggling hopeless feelings towards her friend alongside her crushing depression and overly religious family was gradually becoming a tiresome chore. Things were about to change, however. But not always for the better.
*This can be read without reading "Snow" first - however some detailed parts from the previous story may be skipped over.

Summary
Monika awakens in a hospital, her head pounding and her memories scattered. After weeks in a coma, she's forced to accept that the reality she'd dreamed - of the literature club, of her popularity, all of it was fake, just part of her broken mind. Now she must accept a new, uncomfortable reality, one that's real, yet one that doesn't offer much hope.
