Summary
It is Valentine’s Day, and Asriel is eager to get everything ready for a day out with his girlfriend Dess. However, his plans go awry when he finds her missing from their shared apartment after waking up in the morning. Instead, he only finds a single note:
Meet me at Hometown’s bus station.
A trip down memory lane, in which Asriel reminisces about what he and Dess have always meant to each other, and discovers what they will mean to each other going forward.

The Holiday and Dreemurr parents have once again left on their yearly vacation trip together. This of course leaves their children in charge of the Holiday manor, which can only mean one thing:
A sleepover! Where the soft drinks are plenty, the bedtime is mostly a suggestion, and the Dreemurr-Holiday grudge match on Smashing Fighters is the main event.
This time around, however, something has changed between the two eldest children…

”You know Azzy? I’ve never actually been to the beach. I guess since we had a pool of our own at home we never-” - Dess was cut off as Asriel suddenly bolted out of the room. When he came back, he carried with him a large bag and some clothes - “Whoah whoah hey what are you doing?”
”I’m packing up some things. We’re going to the beach.”
It’s been some time since December Holiday returned to the Light World. Through no small effort, she’s been slowly getting used to the things she once knew and discovering what she didn’t. And as the summer rolls around, it is now time for her to experience something new, and the emotions that come with it.

He flinched hearing the loud yelp of an animal that kept crying out loud after he ‘passed by’ it. He pulled over fast and grabbed his barely working flashlight, throwing himself out of the car. Angel, he just hoped that it was just cats fighting–even though it sounded nothing like a cat– and not an animal that he ran over.
Or; Asriel is met with an unfortunate inconvenience on his way home.
