But he couldn’t break his promise to Harvey again. Something about the man’s disappointment had been so harrowing that Mike didn’t want to experience it ever again.

His thoughts were cut off by a sharp blow to the back of his head.
Wha— he tried to turn around, but another blow struck him square on the jaw. Mike stumbled back as two more guys grabbed his arms, dragging him into an alley and pinning him against a wall.
“Hey there pretty boy,” the first guy spat. He was ginormous with arms bigger than Mike’s head. In fact he could probably crush Mike’s windpipe without breaking a sweat.
