Summary
Rumi had learned a long time ago that her body was… more resilient than the average human. She wasn't invincible. Her body still bent and broke and popped and bled in an irritatingly human way sometimes. However she tended to heal at a supernatural rate. A broken arm healed in a matter of minutes. A gash closed over in a handful of seconds. The honmoon helped to speed up the healing of its hunters, but not to this level. Not to this extreme.
Still, the first time Rumi gets hit by a bus she is immensely grateful that 1) it is her and not one of her girls that was hit, 2) her demon healing has already started to repair her snapped spine as she careens through the air and 3) that Zoey and Mira are still in the alley way and won't have to watch this happen.

HUNTR/X has definitely gotten themselves into quite the number of scandals over the years, but some of them are a lot more notable than others. From getting a cat to cover up a blue demon tiger to having all of their alt accounts (and relationship) exposed on Twitter because of a fact about gay turtles, things are never easy for the Honmoon's strongest little soldiers.

"Whatever you're thinking of," Mira drawled, lips twitching against a grin, "don't."
"I wasn't thinking anything!"
"Zoey," she said again, cocking an eyebrow. "I can already smell it on you... And Rumi and I are gonna have a hard enough time with this without you smelling like the world's juiciest steak."
Zoey blinked.
"You think I smell like steak?"
Rumi sidled up beside Mira, crossing her arms as well.
"Maybe not steak; something savory, though. Very tasty."

Summary
Rumi’s eyes narrowed. “When did you get so spoiled, baby?” she asked calmly, not rising to the challenge of Mira’s bratty words. She didn’t need to raise her voice or get angry to drive home her control; Zoey felt it as strongly as if Rumi’s hand was around her neck. Clearly Mira felt the same, because she shuddered, staring up at Rumi with wide eyes. “You know, I think I let you two get away with too much. In here I let you have your fun. I let you be in charge because I like it and it’s hot.”
She turned her glare towards Zoey, who was perched on the edge of her seat in the armchair. “But I’ve been too lax with you, hm? You forgot that out there, I’m the leader. You listen to me. And since you decided to bring your little games out of our home and into our work, I think you both need a reminder of who’s really in charge.”

Zoey wins a bet and makes Mira wear a remote-controlled vibrator on a day of back-to-back interviews. Rumi isn't happy with how reckless they are once she finds out, and takes it upon herself to remind them that she's the one in charge.
