I love George. I love Kimi. I love the toxic, terrible family dynamic they always push.
I am also dealing with Some Sad Shit and this is easier.
inspired by the hymnal "Mary did you know"
sorry

Summary
George is an alpha but mostly just fed up with his team. Max is an omega and still rains hellfire on everyone. They tolerate each other, barely, but when a crash has Max's hackles up, for some reason the one he wants is... George?
a.k.a. George getting pushed around by an omega who has decided George is HIS, and everybody (including George) being very confused about that. As always, Max doesn't care. As always, George panics. Oh and Kimi is cackling in the corner.

Summary
Max and George have a rhythm. A routine. Max drives, George walks, and the universe dies a little bit each time they do (because they’re just hot like that) and at the end of the day it’s just them curled up on their little couch eating custard as London reminds everyone how annoying traffic is.
And then one rookie mistake later, along with a scheming German and maybe one or two entirely-too-observant fans, the world raises there eyebrows. The King of the Track and Versace’s Golden Prince can’t be dating,
Right? All the while, Max and George are too busy smiling at each other to care about the universal meltdown they are causing. Or they just don’t realize. Oh well. ❤️

Summary
The championship was never supposed to come between them.
Max and George keep their relationship hidden, finding each other only in quiet moments between races and interviews. But as the title fight narrows to just the two of them, pressure turns silence into distance, and distance into something that starts to break.
One public moment changes everything, forcing them to confront what they’ve been avoiding all season: love that exists only in private cannot survive forever.

Summary
“Lando, right. I’m Oscar. We’ve got everything under control in there now, the rest of the guys are just finishing up a few final checks before the scene is fully cleared. Just wanted to- Shit, sorry, you must be freezing. Here,” the man - Oscar - replied, suddenly pulling off the thick fire retardant jacket he was wearing and draping it around Lando’s shoulders.
Lando’s eyes widened for a moment, nearly choking on air while he inadvertently looked over the man's physique that was now visible, which… Good god. His biceps were cruelly massive, the tight black shirt he was wearing accentuating his broad chest, and Lando felt like he could just about pass out. The warmth of the jacket was nice, too, but the cold had suddenly felt much less pressing.
“Thanks,” he choked out, clearing his throat. “Yeah, uh… Pretty cold out here.”
Oscar laughed quietly, as if Lando couldn’t get any more infatuated, but he quickly moved on. “No problem at all, mate. ‘S what we’re here for. Just, maybe stick to takeaway next time, yeah? As nice as it is to meet you, I’d hate to be showing back up here for another fire.”

Summary
Liam never had the Rookie experience.
It's a little fact he hardly thinks about truth be told, a small thing that only sometimes nags at the back of his mind, something so small, so irrelevant he feels a little embarrassed to even acknowledge at all most of the time, let alone allow himself to feel anything regarding it.
F1 is fast. F1 is unpredictable. F1 is harsh.
At least that was his experience: Liam wasn't taught how to navigate it, he was one of those kids who learned how to swim by being thrown on the deep end while the adults around watched with vague interest, not overly worried about the possibility of him sinking because they had other kids waiting by the shore.
He didn't know things could be different, but oh how clearly he saw that they could.
Just not for him.
Or: 5 times Liam didn't think he mattered as much to Max and the Rookies and the ensuing crash outs they had over it.

Summary
When George finally escapes a toxic relationship with his toddler, Kimi, he’s just hoping for safety — a place to breathe, to heal, to start again.
He doesn’t expect their new apartment building to be filled with warmth, noisy kids, protective neighbors… and one very gentle single dad with bright blue eyes and a quiet sadness of his own.
Max and Liam have their scars. George and Kimi have theirs.
But in the slow, everyday moments — shared hallways, bedtime meltdowns, borrowed sugar, unexpected comfort — something begins to grow.
Not perfect. Not easy.
But maybe something safe.
Maybe something like home.
