Summary
He scrutinises her closely. "Have I offended you, somehow?" he asks silkily. "Care to share the story how you got the scar?"
"Not right now," she bites out.
She gives him a visual audit so cold it could turn a spitting volcano into a glacier. Raphael returns it with practised lenience, though he's aware he's stepped into another pitfall, not sure how, though. One cannot win with her.
He reaches for her arm. "You might feel better if-"
Before he finishes, Tav's upon him, fingers around his throat. Always the damned throat. He struggles briefly before forcing himself into surrender, arms stretched out on the bed.
"I said," she whispers, "not now."--------
It's been three years and a somewhat damaged Tav learned to move on. But what do you do when the devil you killed returns to offer hope - in exchange for your part in his grand design? And what if his design is so monstrous that Tav may not have to kill the devil this time, but save him instead?
OR: A depressed Raphael fell first, a depressed Tav fell harder.

Er mustert sie scharf. "Habe ich dich gekränkt?"
Sie antwortet nicht.
"Möchtest du mir verraten, wo du die Narbe herhast?"
"Nicht im Moment."
Starrt ihn an und er starrt zurück. Das Strahlen in ihren Augen ist fort - nur noch zwei schwarze, stille Winterseen. Wer hineinfällt, muss wohl ertrinken oder strampelnd erfrieren.
"Es würde dir gut tun, wenn -"
Jetzt liegt sie auf ihm, ihre Hände wieder an seiner Kehle. Immer die Kehle. Und der Griff so fest, dass er das Kinn runterdrücken muss, um seine Luftröhre zu schützen. Seine Arme sind kapitulierend zur Seite ausgestreckt, sein Atem stockt. Aber er kann immer noch lächeln.
"Nicht jetzt, habe ich gesagt," flüstert Tav.--------
Was tun, wenn ein totgeglaubter Teufel und all der unverdaute Hass zurück sind - und plötzlich alles in Frage gestellt wird? Und was, wenn sein Vorhaben dieses Mal so monströs ist, dass Tav ihn gar nicht töten, sondern retten muss?Slowburn-Drama für Tav und Raphael.

Die Story basiert auf zusammenhängenden One-Shots. D.h. ihr Charakter ist weniger eine geschlossene Handlung, sondern besteht oft aus aneinandergereihten Szenen mit Lücken dazwischen.Series
