Summary
After Contessa kills Taylor, the [Queen Administrator] flees with her host's soul tucked in amongst crystalline data banks, seeking some way to repair the creature she'd betrayed her Progenitor for. Past a strange expanse and through gates that weren't comprehensible even to her own advanced sensory suite, the shard finds a metaphysical nest of creatures that are silver, strange and Hungry. Too bad that the Olympians sucked - big time - at keeping it in their pants.
Fast forward to the early nineties: Sally Jackson goes into labor with who all logic said would be a son of Poseidon. When Izumi was four, she didn't get her Quirk. For almost a year. Her parents constantly argued over it, the other kids made fun of her at school, and even Kacchan was getting impatient. One day, she was lying in bed to muffle the shouting match of her parents, and started praying. Made a wish.
“Please, whoever is listening. Just give me a Quirk. It can be weak, I’ll train myself to death to master it. I’ll deal with it being unpalatable. Just please.” Her voice shuddered as she went silent.
“Even if it’s a curse, I’ll take it.” She whispered into her pillow.
Well. Who knew fate could be this petty?

She was not struck dumb at the sight of him. Instead she scooted on her rear a bit closer till one pudgy hand could reach out and pat the top of his head with a surprising force for how tiny they were.
Sister.
For the first time since he’s opened new eyes on this side of death, Robb smiled. “Sisser.”
He still couldn’t pronounce ‘t’s.
It was perfect anyways.
