Summary
Bruce Wayne tiene un plan infalible para vigilar a Superman: acostarse con él.
Crea un alter ego, Matches Malone, se acerca a Clark Kent, y empieza una relación basada en mentiras, sexo increíble y una obsesión que Bruce insiste en llamar investigación.
El problema es que Clark no es solo un alienígena con capa. Es cálido, torpe, terriblemente humano, y tiene secretos que Bruce no esperaba.
Cuando la línea entre deber y deseo se rompe, Bruce hace lo que mejor sabe: huir.
Pero volverá.
Y cuando lo haga, tendrá que enfrentarse a algo peor que sus miedos: un Clark embarazado, y la cruda realidad de que las mentiras siempre salen a la luz.

Jane sostiene a la pequeña Hela con cuidado, como le habían indicado. La niña viste terciopelo azul oscuro, y una corona diminuta se desliza entre los cabellos negros como un cuervo, idénticos a los de su madre.
Es el día en que será presentada oficialmente como heredera: la hija de Thor y su esposa, nacida gracias al noble y generoso vientre de Loki. Porque el matrimonio, decían, no podía tener hijos propios.
La pequeña es hermosa. Tiene la piel pálida y prístina de Loki, así como su cabello, pero los ojos…
Jane entrecierra los suyos, mirándola con más atención.
¿No eran demasiado claros? ¿Demasiado azules? ¿Demasiado eléctricos?
La genética podía ser extraña, lo sabía, pero…
Mira a Thor de reojo. Él no parece escuchar el discurso ceremonial. Solo observa a la niña en sus brazos con una intensidad incómoda. Cuando Jane mueve un poco los dedos para acomodarla, él da un paso hacia adelante, como si temiera que pudiera caer. Sobreprotector. Inquieto.
No lo entiende. No todavía.
Pero algo no cuadra.Intranquila, se pregunta qué tan buena idea sería escarbar en los secretos de su falso esposo.

Clark has always loved children. From their easy laughter, hard-hitting ‘why’ questions, and the endless hugs that make Clark day a thousand times better, children were just the greatest gift. It’s not a surprise to anyone that early on they could tell he’d liked a family, or just a little one to call his own.
And being the last of his kind, the urge is there even more, conscious and subconscious.
Resigned to only have fleeting moments with that hope when protecting children as Superman or Reporter Kent, his Kryptonian body declares it’s time to fix that.
