This work is a prequel to the events of “The Ministry of Snakes” and covers the events discussed between Snape and the Aurors in Australia within “Restoration”.
Snape is moving into Hogwarts after being made Headmaster by Voldemort. As the desire to eradicate muggleborn witches and wizards grows, Snape feels compelled to try to assist those about to receive their Hogwarts offer but knows that in doing this, he may expose his true allegiance.

And if she happens to currently be shagging one of Britain’s most accomplished wizards, that’s got to be a help surely.
