Summary
In New York, Ilya is celebrating a victory against the Admirals by watching his secret boyfriend destroy the Pittsburgh Penguins on home ice on a hotel TV. He isn't prepared to witness Shane go down, hard, in a pool of blood.
Meanwhile, in Pittsburgh, Mel has agreed to a blind date in the hope that it will help her move on from her growing feelings towards the very-married Dr. Langdon, who has recently returned to the Pitt. When her date takes Mel to a hockey game, she doesn't think her night can get any worse - until one of the players has his neck cut open mere feet away from her.

Everyone has a theory. One person truly understands, even without asking. And another figures it out, in spite of Whitaker’s best intentions.
AKA Dennis Whitaker is an estranged Weasley miracle baby and squib, doing his best to bring good to this world and become a doctor, despite his family’s hesitations. If only his childhood better prepared him to blend in with Muggles. Or Americans, for that matter.
