“Hyunjin,” Seungmin wanted to tell him something. Something about how he would be okay. How it was a temporary feeling. That it’s normal to feel the way he does. That him and Changbin are there for him. That joy will find him again. Something to make him feel better. To remind him that the pain won’t last forever.
But when Hyunjin shifted his gaze, stained glass eyes, staring at him, the words died in his throat. He opened his mouth to speak but the words didn’t come out right. All he could see was the gentle curve of his lips, the soft pinkness of his cheeks, and the deepness of his eyes and so he was so–
“You’re so beautiful,” it came out like a worship. Like his soul couldn’t stop the words spilling past his lips. Like his tongue was moving and air was pushing out of his lungs as if commanded by a higher power.

Summary
Hyunjin blinks at him again, and then he bursts into tears.
“Woah, hey, it’s okay,” Changbin says soothingly, quickly moving to his side, wrapping an arm around Hyunjin's shoulders as his tries to wipe away the tears that keep falling. “What’s happened?”
Hyunjin squeezes his eyes shut, doesn’t look at Changbin when he says, “I slept with Seungmin.”
Changbin pauses. It’s not what he had been expecting. “Okay,” he says slowly, carefully, “And that’s... a bad thing...?”
Now Hyunjin turns to look at him, confused and somewhat horrified, “I slept with someone else!”
Ah. Changbin takes a breath, composes his thoughts. He has to tread very carefully here. “We never really talked about... not sleeping with other people,” he tries.
OR
Hyunjin is in love with two people. They figure it out.

Summary
Really, to Seungmin, Changbin’s desire to keep Hyunjin happy probably had more to do with this whole proposal than Changbin’s desire for Seungmin. If Hyunjin asked, Changbin would hand him the moon in a heartbeat, with an extra star thrown in as a gift.
That’s what Seungmin was in this situation.
Changbin and Hyunjin could live their perfect husband and wife relationship together, and Seungmin was a gift. A way for Hyunjin to finally satiate his fascination with Seungmin that had been building for eight long years and a way for Changbin to spoil Hyunjin, like he always did.
Of course, he was the gift.
At least, he was temporarily.
