Summary
“So, who is it?” Buck said after a minute.
“Who’s who?” May asked, confused.
“The dispatcher who’s being a dick to you.”
“Seriously Buck, it’s fine, just leave it.” May groaned.
Buck glared at her, a look he’d picked up from Eddie as his husband had a habit of using it whenever Buck did something stupid, “So what’s the plan? Just wait until one of you moves on? You’re both at the beginning of your careers, there’s no guarantee one of you will leave soon.”
“She’s, uh, she’s not at the beginning of her career.” May admitted, looking away from her brother sheepishly.
“Maaay, how old is she?” May tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, refusing to make eye contact with Buck, “Come on May, fess up.”
“She’s in, like, her mid-50s.” She cringed.
Buck was gobsmacked by that, “Woah, I’m sorry, she’s in her 50s? A whole ass adult woman is bullying you? A literal teenager?”
or
Buck goes to visit May at dispatch only to find out about a dispatcher picking on her. Like any good big brother he takes matters into his own hands.

Summary
Months after the lawsuit, things are looking good.
A series of violent robberies has Los Angeles in a tizzy, with two fatalities, a father protecting his son, and a neighborhood security guard. The gang breaks into Buck's house in the early morning, he was there because he had picked up an extra shift that turned his 12-hour schedule into a 24-hour one.
SWAT raids the house and… well, familiar faces are seen, NCIS is called, a weird how-do-they-know-each-other scene ensues, and Buck's military history briefly comes to light. Bobby is criticized (and that's how it ends).

Summary
Buck lost count of the nightmares.
Everytime he closed his eyes, Buck saw Bobby. The captain he admired, the mentor who taught him so much, and the father he loved, Buck kept seeing him. Trapped on the other side of bullet-proof tampered glass, blood dripping from his nose across his graying skin. The pained expression in his watering eyes.
"I love you, kid."
Buck hadn't said it back. And now, he stood in the L.A. Hospital with his team, begging Steve McGarrett to tell him what in the hell was going on.
"Steve," Buck repeated, desperate. "Why are you here?"
Steve pursed his lips, nodded a few times, and then let out a deep breath and looked Buck straight in the eyes.
"Because when I discover one of the victims of abuse and unlawful science experimentation in a ring of underground labs is the captain of one of my guys, I think I owe it to him to bring him home."
OR: Bobby's been trapped in an underground lab for a year. He makes it home to his son.

"Hey, Eddie!" Chim calls him as he leaves the fire station, "This came in for you, there's no return address."
Eddie's heart drops almost immediately and he rushes to Chim, almost ripping the envelope from his hand.
"Woah there, this better not be some weird fetish thing."
"Shut up Chim!" He snaps back.
