Summary
Sir Roger Wessyng and his Leopards have enjoyed two years of peace on their home planet of Anglerre, including the knights Eldari lover Anya Syneoch. But when a desperate message brings Prince Edmund to his home, the knight is thrown back into action and off world.
Recruiting his old friends, he finds a planet that haunted his dreams and is dragging the Imperium into a bloody and unending campaign. Even worse, the Craftworld of Ducaish and the Inquisition take notice of the planet as a Chaos-tainted rebellion rages. But ancient ruins hide a secret that is beyond both species understanding, and it is one that would make even the Dark Gods quake in terror. All the while, Roger is confused by nightmares and dreams that are the work of an Eldari goddess thought long dead. Warnings of a doom beyond comprehension could just as easily be him going mad, and he cannot decide which is worse.
This adventure will be Roger and the Leopards last, and for some it will end in death. But no matter the odds or the dangers, he swore a knightly oath to defend and protect mankind, and he will fulfill this to his last breath.
The final battle approaches, and everything he has done or accomplished has lead to this...
