Summary
Mingi, a dedicated single father, finds himself unexpectedly running into Jeong Yunho, an old flame he thought he had left far behind. A chance meeting, a few exchanges, and then, suddenly, they were talking again.
Yunho, having chased dreams and career success, realizes that despite all his accomplishments, something, or rather, someone, has been missing from his home and his life. No matter how wonderful the people he met were, none of them could compare to Mingi. They didn't have his laugh, his kindness, his way of making him feel like he was the most important person in the world.
Thus, he found himself on a mission - to fill the empty walls of his home, and rekindle the brilliant flame known as his love's heart.
But was Mingi ready for that? Yunho wasn't sure.

His hand trembled as he wrote, as he laid himself bare in ink.
I think I always will.
Tears blurred the words, smudging them as they dripped onto the page. But he kept writing. He wrote about all the years he had spent loving Yunho in silence, about the ache of watching him fall in love with someone else. He wrote about their past, about the way they had been so close to something real before Yunho had pulled away. About how Mingi had spent years trying to forget, only to realise that forgetting was impossible.
By the time he stopped, his chest felt hollow. His hands were shaking.
He stared down at the confession—his love, his pain, his heartbreak, all condensed into a few pages. Then he let out a breath, closed the notebook, and pressed it against his forehead, eyes squeezed shut.
Tomorrow, Yunho is getting married.
