Summary
In the Pride Ring, there is a hierarchy. The Queen, the Prince, and the Sinners. Folks still whisper about this prince. Who is he? How did he come to be? Why had the Queen taken him in? Nevertheless, he was their prince, and much more present than their real queen. Millions of years follow and he meets Lucifer the sinner and makes a deal with him. Lucifer shall act as a bodyguard/business partner in all of Al’s endeavors, as a repayment of when the prince brought Lucifer in for shelter. When Lucifer pitches an idea about a hotel that could rehabilitate the sinners instead of the yearly Exterminations, Al can’t help but chuckle, but does relent to this misguided project. Who knows? It may be entertaining!

Keith looks between the children and the hat, too confused to glare, sweaty and horrid from pulling weeds beneath the scorching sun. “What?”
“That’s wrong,” Nadia complains, and yanks her brother down to her level to whisper the correction in his ear.
“Ooh,” Silvio amends. “Tía Veronica said you have a pale ass. My Abuela said you’re gonna die.”
