Summary
Sometimes Katsuki Bakugo felt like he was running a race alone, and no matter how fast he went, every step he took got him no closer to the finish line. It continued to move farther and farther away, keeping pace with him, continuously infuriating and unreachable. It was on those days that he felt more like his old self, the short-tempered boy trying too hard to do more than he was capable of and slowly imploding in the process.
Today was one of those days.
Or: Bakugo struggles after the war, and it gets a little messy

He started to gently pull Bakugou towards him, but the blond managed to tear his arm free of Kirishima's grasp, shaking his head and suddenly struggling for air.
"I feel ...," he started, and Kirishima's chest tightened at how slurred the words came tumbling from his lips. "I feel -", he tried again, but then red eyes rolled back in his skull and he swayed too far to the side and then he dropped.

Yuuei is one of the most prestigious teaching hospitals in the world, with applicants fighting tooth and nail to get in from all over the world. So when hard-working country girl Ochako Uraraka gets accepted into their elite surgical program, she is determined to make the most of it, to become a badass trauma surgeon, to save lives and provide the life her family deserves, and the cranky (but stupid hot) star resident, Bakugo Katsuki, WILL not dampen her spirit and will not distract her with his stupid scowl, and his even stupider filled out scrubs.
* I don't know medical stuff and I'm going to just go ahead and assume my Grey's based knowledge is not entirely accurate! For all of you fanfic writers out there who DO YOUR RESEARCH, I salute you- but I really just want to have fun writing sexy elevator scenes.... So please suspend disbelief for me and the knowledge that I'm sure hospitals in Japan don't function the same way they do in America :)
** basically it's just Grey's Anatomy with my UA babies! Aged-up, and even different ages among the UA students (some are interns and some are residents, and some are attendings, but I can do what I want!)
