“Tell me you don't want this," Mike breathes. “Tell me you don't want me anymore.”
Will doesn't say anything, and Mike cups his cheek in one hand while the other rests against the wall slightly above his head as he leans in, lips brushing against Will’s ear.
“We can fight later. Don't let me sleep alone tonight."
It’s 1993. Will has left Hawkins behind him. He's built a decent life for himself in New York City, a life without Mike. He has an apartment along with amazing friends who take him to a concert for a new upcoming band without knowing the man front and center on stage is the very man he's been desperately trying to dig out of his brain for the last four years.
He listens to the meaningful lyrics, and he feels a rush of resentment hit him with the weight of a bus. He hates Mike for making him feel like he was just seeing things, like there was nothing there, but there always was.
Will can't keep telling himself he doesn't hold a grudge. His anger quickly overtakes his pain, and he takes it all out on Mike.
Can Mike get Will to forgive him? Can he convince him to go on tour with him, move into his apartment with him in LA, or will he fuck it all up?
