I believe the title says it all, but here's a 'lil preview:
___Sage left him this morning- The man might’ve been the Fount of Knowledge, and now the Sage of Truth, but he was still so, so unskilled in comforting other cookies- It was in his nature to be blunt, and the recluse to be blunt-er, but nonetheless.
Sage left to teach his classes, but he did say he’d come back to the Spire sooner and not stay overtime. Blueberry Milk Cookie had the horrible habit of staying late and grading papers and helping students and then doing free lectures in the Square- He’d come back to the Spire of Deceit with eyebags and a little frown on his face till he got to collapse into bed beside the recluse.
They’d only been dating for a good eight months, and in that time the recluse hadn’t gotten his period; he’d thought it perhaps a blessing from the Witches.
Boy, was he thoroughly wrong.

“You may now exchange the rings,” Mystic says.
Black Sapphire offers the rings, his visible eye tearing up. Shadow Milk takes the ring with the blue gemstone and slides it onto the healer’s ring finger. Truthless takes the yellow gemstone and kisses it lightly before sliding it onto the Beast of Deceit’s finger.
“Shadow Milk Cookie and Truthless Recluse have chosen rings to exchange with each other as a symbol of their unending love. By the authority vested in me, the Once Flour of Volition, by the Continent of Beast-Yeast, I now pronounce you Husband and Husband. You may now kiss the... Ahh, butch!” She fumbles that last bit, but both deceitful cookies take the hint and kiss.It tastes bittersweet- the cloying scent of blueberries upon the other’s lips, the rotten, alcoholic taste of fermented vanilla upon the healer’s. They love it though- And everything is amazing, cookies stand up, clapping and cheering, happy for these newlyweds.
So of course, it was at that exact moment the Ancients arrived.

Chapter One
Once again, a voice hissed in his ear to wake up, and the sharp butt of a staff jabbed into his side, and Pure Sage was awake. He knew he’d fallen asleep while hearing Blue Vanilla speak, and both were now contently snuggled together, with Pure Sage’s face buried in the other’s neck.
And White Lily waking him up again.
Chapter Two
White Lily Cookie rolled off bed upon hearing a wet, staticky sound; that was so out of place. “Ack-! I’m up, I’m up!” She called breathlessly, fiddling around with the purple diamond before a voice came through-
“White Lily Cookie? Oh, you’re on, perfect!” It was Black Sapphire-?
“Y-Yes, I’m on. What happened? It’s the middle of the night...”
“Shadow Milk Cookie... How do I put this simply? He’s released Pure Vanilla Cookie from the seal on the Silver Tree here in the Vanilla Kingdom.”
Chapter 3
“OOOH! OOOH! ME! ME!” Candy Apple squeals, latching onto the once-Fount's arm tightly.
“Why not?” Black Sapphire straightens his suit and nods. “I suppose I’ve gone from radio show host, to advisor, to thief. How far I’ve fallen.”

Pure Vanilla’s voice, sharp with anger, burst through the door.
Lily’s heart jumped. She’d never heard him angry before. Not like that.
“No... No, no! You said I’d be here for two months!” he snapped. “Now you’re asking me to stay for a year?! It’s hard enough pretending to be happy—but staying here for a whole year?”
Lily’s breath caught.
Staying here instead of going where?
She instinctively cast an invisibility spell and slipped through the door, silent as wind.
Pure Vanilla—or whoever he was now—stood with his back to her, shoulders rigid, hands clenched. He looked... disheveled. Angry. Frustrated.
“I don’t want to be here!” he shouted. “I feel my obedience slipping, and these Cookies... They’re nice! It’s too much. I don’t like it. The mask you told me to wear is becoming realer every day!”
A soft, mocking voice responded.
“Ohhhh, my little Recluse wants to come home?” Shadow Milk crooned through the deceit eye. “Do you miss your master that much?”
Lily’s heart dropped like a stone.
