Usually that look of distrust, of distaste, is rooted in the Galra blood. In the near-expectation people have that one day he’s going to lose himself to it.
But he’s never had them look at him like this because of his father, before. Because he dares to call himself human, because he dared to survive.
It’s worse. Somehow, this is so much worse.

Summary
Keith is rescued from a Galra prison ship by the Blades of Marmora, but his captivity has left him unstable, moorless and vulnerable; something is activating his dormant Galra DNA making him unrecognizable to himself. Traumatized and distrustful, Keith struggles to accept what he's becoming.
The Blades, however, welcome their new family member regardless.

Summary
He hadn’t meant to fall.
One second he was in the training bay the next he was barely making it to his room, gripping the bathroom doorway hard enough for his knuckles to turn white. His chest heaved, his head was fuzzy, the walk there was already slipping from his memory.
Then the floor tilted.
Pain shot through his lower back and his knees buckled. He hit the ground hard, the impact rattling through his bones. The room spun as he swayed before collapsing fully onto his side.
“Fuck that hurt” he muttered.
He tried to breathe through it
His cheek pressed against the floor, skin sticking with sweat and tears.
Tears.
“Stop-” His voice cracked.---
