Summary

Summary
For generations, it had been a tradition for each member of the Kim family to get their portraits painted for the grand gallery within the estate. Each portrait should exude power, authority and nothing else.
It wasn't going to be any different for Kim Taehyung. He was going to sit beautifully, back straight and mask high, whilst yet another high society painter captured his expressionless face.
He never expected Jeon Jeongguk, incredibly young and naïve, with paint splattered all over his hands, and no interest in exactly how powerful the Kims were, to see right through him and paint the feelings he had buried deep within. He is terrified by how he had managed to crack through his pristine exterior and capture all the grief and sadness he had hidden for so long in just the raw sketches.
Taehyung did not want him seeing the weakness and purity that he had effortlessly picked out on and drawn onto the canvas. He had to show Jeongguk just how corrupt he really was and so he takes him into his world and attempts to tear his innocence away. All Jeongguk sees though, is a troubled soul desperate for help.
Taehyung shouldn't but he finds himself breaking down his walls in front of the young painter.
