    Obi-Wan narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?" He asked, hoping a direct question would yield answers. The old man seemed adept at side-stepping information when asked a bit more deftly. “I’ve never heard of a Master with your level of talent.”

     

     

     

     

    The old man seemed surprised. “If you’ve never heard of one like me, then what good would my name be? You wouldn’t know it.”

     

    Obi-Wan felt a flare of irritation, and quickly squashed it. The old man blinked, as if he hadn’t expected to feel that, and he smiled, sadly. “My name is Luke,” he said, as if a peace offering.

     

    The force trilled in his ear, and Obi-Wan frowned. "Luke what?" He asked, and the old man, this Luke, smiled wryly.

     

    "Luke Skywalker.”

    On a trip to Dathomir, Anakin Skywalker finds a spell that will grant him one wish. Anxious to return home, he wishes for a way to end the war. As a result, he ends up accidentally kidnapping his future children...moments after they've escaped Bespin. Luke is quite done dealing with his mess of a father, and Leia is convinced telling the future Darth Vader about the future will only make it worse. Desperate, Anakin calls in the only person they might listen to: Padme Amidala. Too bad Padme has a surprise of her own...

    “Designation?” the bounty hunter grinds out.

    The answer slips easily out of his lips this time. “CC-2224.”

    Boba Fett curses, harsh and quiet. His hands are shaking. “Kote?” he whispers, and his voice breaks on the word.

    CC-2224 can hear screaming. The comms are silent, and the room is still, and no one else reacts to the noise. And yet… someone is screaming. He can hear it.

    CC-2224 expected another routine stop at the Fortress Inquisitorius, staring unseeingly at identical grey walls while Vader tortured Jedi prisoners far below. He certainly didn’t think he'd be thrown back into his mind, back in time, and dragged along with five children determined to save the galaxy one Mandalorian at a time.
