They both stand there, awed by the speed and intensity with which Red Hood is putting the food back, his helmet now placed on the table, revealing the domino mask that had been hiding his identity underneath.
“That’s gotta be at least 2000 calories in one sitting.” Tina comments.

He had quit volunteering at the library– he couldn’t handle the walk there anymore, too many people, too much noise, too many opportunities for ambush. He’d stopped leaving his apartment during the day entirely, deciding it best to get groceries delivered, rather than freak out in the check-out line.
Because of this, Jason had some spare time, and if he preferred to utilize that time by being unconscious, that was no one’s concern but his own. He needed the extra sleep anyway– his nightmares had been getting worse, waking him up, drenched in sweat, with the taste of bile surfacing in the back of his throat.
