The gas is still permeating the room. Peter wasn’t suspecting it — there was nothing about this guy to suggest he had any sort of experience engineering neurochemicals — and thus, Peter was unprepared. There was no time to escape.
“I mean, this shit won’t work on me ‘cause of my healing factor," Wade continues. "And everybody knows that Spidey’s a beta!”
The criminal glowers, hunched desperately over his gas canister on the other side of the room. Wade’s right that the dude is out of options, but he’s wrong about Peter being a beta. It’s not his fault — that’s exactly what Peter led everyone to believe.
Or: Wade discovers that Spidey is an omega.

Summary
Wade scoffs, shaking his head and elbowing Peter in the side. “Sure,” he says, sarcastic. “That’s why your spidey-sense doesn’t see me.”
Peter’s on the verge of laughing, wanting to join Wade in his amusement, but he freezes. His entire body goes still. He finds himself staring at a roof three buildings over, not even looking at anything. Two blocks away, a car alarm finally shuts off.
“I never told you that,” Peter says, the realization startling him.

Summary
Lucifer only wanted what was best for himself and for his kingdom. Alastor knew that and yet why did he betray the deal? Lucifer needs to know. He has to know. He sacrificed to much only for the radio demon to come and ruin it all. And he'll make Alastor tell him one way or another.
But Lucifer is actually just lying to himself because he doesn't know what else to think. A deal was made and they both must reface it.
