Vander worked, keeping his hands busy to distract himself from his mounting worry. After all, this isn't the first time Vi's been late back. Jobs don't always go to plan and if things get too bad (or if enforcers get involved), then Vi would distract whoever was after them, so the kids could escape. Despite knowing this, Vander still worried.
(Or what if one bad encounter changes the course of Vi's life.)

"Hello, may I enquire as to who you are and the purpose of this call?" A soft, polite voice greeted his ear.
"I'm Cheif James. This call is regarding the missing prince case." No sooner had the words left his mouth, did he hear what sounded like someone dorping the phone.
After what seemed to him to be the person on the line fumbling with the phone for a moment, the reply came in a hurry. "I'll put you right through, sir."
After sitting here on the Phone for hours, the time has come to talk to the Queen.

"This is important, Ekko. If I can get to this other universe, then maybe there’s a chance I could meet…” she trailed off.
“Vi,” Ekko finished. Powder nodded and he sighed. “Pow, you do realize she’s not gonna be our Vi, right? She could be a completely different person. Besides, what if she has a Powder of her own?”
Powder knew he had several points. The logical thing to do would be to destroy the Z-drive and the gemstones and never think about interdimensional travel ever again. It was selfish to assume she could go to another universe, meet another Vi, and have her sister back–even if it was just for a short while. But Powder was finding it incredibly difficult to care about logic. She wanted to see her sister, even if it wasn’t her sister.

It has been six months since the events of S2E7 and Powder hasn't been able to get idea of a universe where Vi is alive out of her head since. But will re-building the Z-Drive to visit this other universe give her the closure she needs?

Vi is a wannabe cook who uses her culinary talent to feed Powder, mostly, but when Caitlyn comes to her to ask for some advice, she might just have found someone else interested in her cooking.
