Summary
Bruce tries to protect Phantom during his first real mission but he soon finds out that Phantom needs less protection than he thought.
"You don't have to be scared. I'll protect you."
It came out less reassuring and more annoyed than he had been aiming for, but hey, at least it was something. Bruce privately thought he was getting better at this whole comforting people business, but then Phantom shook his head. "I'm not scared."
Bruce opened his mouth to say that it was okay to be scared, that he knew Phantom wasn't used to fighting real battles against strong enemies, but before he could say anything Phantom spoke again, and this time it was with an echo and a snarl and loud enough that Ivy would be able to hear, "I'm angry."

"Bandages? Got it. Gimme a second. Okay, uh—wait.” Danny paused, narrowing his eyes at Hood's unsteady hands reaching toward his helmet. “What are you doing? No. Stop that. Helmet stays on.”
Red ignored him, fingers fumbling with the clasp.
“Hnnn…”
“I’m serious! I—hey! Quit it!” Danny swatted Red Hood's hands away, trying to keep the vigilante from unmasking himself. “Nothing good ever comes from a civilian learning a vigilante’s identity. I mean it—stop!”
Red Hood groaned again, louder this time, as if Danny was the unreasonable one.
“Sss…hot,” He mumbled, tugging weakly at the helmet.
“I do not care!” Danny snapped, hands on his hips. “Helmet stays on! Will. You. Just— Nope! Nah uh, don’t you dare!”
