Izuku stared down at the candle in his hand. The wax was melting around the base and warming his hand through the paper cover. It might not be burning, but he wished it was. He didn’t want to be here. Actually, that was a lie, he wanted to be here but he wished this was a regular monthly meeting instead of a vigil. This was the third vigil he’d been to this year, and it was only February.
Last night, a six year old girl named Asami Sato took her life by swallowing a bottle of her mother’s pills. She did this only two hours after her own mother told her she should never have been born.
Asami Sato was born quirkless. She was six, and had not developed a quirk at four like the majority of the population.
Now, Asami Sato was an Orchid. A beautiful, fleeting memory.

“Hm.” He muttered. An email from Midoriya just came through.
Why was his already overworked student up this late? Or maybe he’d scheduled this email to send when he knew Shouta would be up doing grading? Shouta sat down and opened the email.
A video? Was he trying out new ways to submit certain work?
Shouta hit play.

He is examined at the Butterfly Mansion where Shinobu determines that Sanemi will continue collapsing into sleep until he is no longer able to wake again. Will the demon be caught before it's too late for Sanemi? Or will Giyuu lose his best friend before he realizes how much he means to him?
