    Melantha Romanov was rescued by the Black Widow when she was just a young girl. And immediately she was thrusted into the world of having a superhero as a mom. The young girl gave the Widow the job she didn't know she wanted; being a Mother. Their life was good, hectic but they found comfort in one another. But just like any superhero's life, peace doesn't last long.

    Years later, she's an adult trying to live with the trauma of a being an enhanced. There was no one like her. Even her mothers team was looking at her differently. What happens when she meets Wanda? Another posed victim of her capturers. Their powers are similar, more than similar. They have a connection that no one can see but them. So, what happens when it's discovered that their connection runs deeper than they could ever imagine?

    Losing her brother did nothing to endear Wanda Maximoff to Natasha Romanoff.

    Sure, she felt something akin to a twinge of sympathy when she saw Wanda's haunted, puffy eyes each morning in the kitchen, but that was about the extent of it. When these feelings did prickle at her conscience, she shut them out forcefully and willed herself to remember what pain Wanda was capable of inflicing. Natasha relieved the horrors of her past much more frequently now due to the manipulation of her mind at the hands of the little witch and that was not something she could forgive or forget.

    Natasha and Wanda both have issues and they help each other figure them out.
